Dua’s that we should recite on daily basis

There are some Dua’s that our Prophet Muhammad SAW use to recite daily.

In Islam, essential daily Duas (supplications) include morning and evening adhkar, such as reciting Ayat al-Kursi, Surah Al-Ikhlas, and phrases like Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar, which provide protection, forgiveness, and blessings when recited consistently. These are drawn from the Quran and Sunnah to seek Allah’s guidance, sustenance, and mercy throughout the day.

Key Morning Duas

Recite these after Fajr prayer or upon waking to start the day with remembrance and protection.

  • Ayat al-Kursi (Quran 2:255): Allahu la ilaha illa huwa alhayyu alqayyumu… (Allah—there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence…). This verse offers protection from devils until evening when recited in the morning.

Surah Al-Ikhlas (Quran 112): Qul huwa Allahu ahad… (Say: He is Allah, the One…). Recite it three times for spiritual purity and reward equivalent to reciting one-third of the Quran.

Allahumma inni as’aluka ‘ilman nafi’an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan (O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and accepted deeds).

Bismillahilladhi la yadurru ma’asmihi shay’un fil-ardi wala fis-sama’i wa huwas-sami’ul-‘alim (In the name of Allah with whose name nothing is harmed on earth nor in heaven, and He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing). Recite three times for protection from harm.

Key Evening Duas

Recite these before sleep or after Maghrib to seek forgiveness and safeguard until morning.

  • Repeat Ayat al-Kursi again for angelic protection overnight.

Astaghfirullah wa atubu ilayh (I seek forgiveness from Allah and repent to Him). Recite 33 times or as manageable for seeking pardon.

Subhanallah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest). Recite each 33 times to praise Allah and gain rewards.

Allahumma inni as’alukal-jannata wa a’udhu bika minan-nar (O Allah, I ask You for Paradise and seek refuge in You from the Fire).

General Daily Duas for Any Time

These can be incorporated throughout the day for ongoing remembrance, such as during meals, travel, or distress.

  • Upon eating: Alhamdulillahilladhi at’amana wa saqana wa ja’alana muslimin (All praise belongs to Allah, who fed us and quenched our thirst and made us Muslims).

For distress: La ilaha illallahul-‘alimul-halim, la ilaha illallahu rabbul-‘arshil-‘azim… (There is no God but Allah, the Knowing, the Forbearing…).

Short comprehensive Dua: Ya Hayyu ya Qayyumu birahmatika astagheeth, aslih li sha’ni kullahu, wala takilni ila nafsi tarfata ‘ayn (O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, by Your mercy I seek help; rectify all my affairs, and do not leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye).

For comprehensive practice, focus on consistency, as the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) emphasized daily adhkar for spiritual growth and protection. If creating content, these can be adapted into short videos or posts with Arabic text, transliteration, and simple explanations.

Duas for Health

Recite these regularly to seek physical and mental well-being, especially during times of illness or as preventive measures.

  • Allahumma ‘afini fi badani, Allahumma ‘afini fi sam’i, Allahumma ‘afini fi basari, la ilaha illa ant (O Allah, grant me health in my body, my hearing, and my sight; there is no god but You). Repeat three times for comprehensive protection of senses and overall health.

Allahumma rabbannas adhhib al-ba’sa, ishfi anta al-shafi, la shifa’a illa shifa’uka, shifa’an la yughadiru saqama (O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the harm and grant healing, for You are the Healer; there is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves no trace of illness).

Duas for Success

These can be said before work, studies, or any endeavor to invoke Allah’s aid for achievement in life, business, or exams.

  • Allahumma inni as’aluka ‘ilman nafi’an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan (O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and accepted deeds).

Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina ‘adhaban-nar (Our Lord, give us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire).

Duas for Guidance

Use these when seeking clarity in decisions, piety, or staying on the straight path.

  • Allahumma ihdini wa saddidni (O Allah, guide me and make me steadfast).

Allahumma inni as’aluka al-huda, wa at-tuqa, wa al-‘afafa, wa al-ghina (O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency).

Duas for Rizq (Provision)

Recite these to seek halal sustenance, abundance, and barakah in your earnings, perhaps after prayers or during financial planning.

  • Allahumma inni as’aluka min fadlika (O Allah, I ask for Your favor).

Allahumma rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina ‘adhaban-nar (O Allah, our Lord, give us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire).

Duas for Children

These are perfect for parents seeking blessings, protection, and righteousness for their kids, recited daily or during family time.

  • Rabbana hablana min azwajina wa dhurriyyatina qurrata a’yunin wa ja’alna lil-muttaqina imama (Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous).

Allahumma barik li fi awladi wa la tadurruhum wa waffiqhum li ta’atika wa arzuqni ‘ilmahum (O Allah, bless my children, do not harm them, grant them success in obeying You, and provide me with knowledge from them).

Incorporate these into your routine with sincerity, as the Prophet (PBUH) emphasized that consistent supplication strengthens faith and brings divine support. For your content, consider pairing them with real-life scenarios like “Dua for a productive workday” to make them relatable. If you need Duas for other specific areas, just let me know!
